The latest news reported that the pre-expansion patch 5.0.4 will goes live on Tuesday, Aug. 28 for the North American realms and on Wednesday, Aug. 29 for the European realms. That's like a whole month before it releases. Blizzard only did that with Cataclysm like 2 weeks before release.
